The Fort St. John& District Chamber of commerce is pleased to share that the two policy resolutions we presented to the BC Chamber AGM last week in Whistler, have passed. These resolutions will now become a part of the advocacy platform that the BC Chamber will do on behalf of the Fort St. John & District Chamber of Commerce and its members.

 

These policy resolutions are;

 

1. Taylor bridge and road infrastructure funds be committed to the BC Peace region

 

2.  A fund be created to lend to Indigenous businesses whether they be a new entrepreneur or an existing business.  This lends to creating wealth on and off nations, creates economic development and an increase labour pool
