We are inviting you to what we anticipate will be an informative and engaging presentation regarding the Northern Centre of Hope, Supportive Housing Facility located at 9824-99 Avenue, Fort St. John by The Salvation Army, and Northern Health.

Please see the letter below which outlines our recommendations to Northern Health, The Salvation Army and the City of Fort St. John regarding crime in the downtown core. 

The Salvation Army will speak to their new facility, Northern Centre of Hope, Supportive Housing that they fully operate on the Northern Centre of Hope campus. This includes the west building for Supportive Housing, and the East building which serves as Emergency Shelter, Low Barrier Housing and Transitional Housing.

Northern Health will discuss their provision of the clinical health services team for Complex Care Housing, supporting 10 specific clients within the 42-unit facility.  NH’s presentation will include an overview of the NH Community Health Services Centre, that will include OPS services located at 10067 - 100 Avenue, Fort St. John to highlight the wrap-around programming proposed, and the structure of the Community Neighbourhood Group that we are starting up in partnership with the Chamber.
