Fort St. John and District Chamber of Commerce names new CEO
(Fort St. John, B.C.) - The Fort St. John and District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Kathleen Connolly has been appointed CEO. Connolly has been a fierce advocate for Northeast B.C. and has experience working with Chamber members to help build stronger businesses.
“I have enormous respect for the Fort St. John and District Chamber of Commerce and look forward to leading the organization and working with the business community in Fort St. John,” said Connolly.
Connolly has called Northeast B.C. home for most of her life and held many influential positions, including over ten years with the Dawson Creek and District Chamber of Commerce. “Her work to grow the Dawson Creek Chamber has impressed the Board, and we look forward to having her join our team in early February,” said Adam Reaburn, Board President.
Connolly has been a strong advocate for the Oil and Gas industry for changes to the Caribou Recovery Program, taxation reform and indigenous reconciliation. Her passion for Northeast B.C. will help bring positive changes for businesses in the North Peace as she takes the leadership role at the Fort St. John and District Chamber of Commerce.
On top of this, as a local indigenous person, she will also work closely with local indigenous communities and our members to find ways to continue to drive growth for all.
The Chamber Board is excited to have Connolly join our team to give our members a stronger voice and ensure our concerns are heard across B.C.
